Reciprocal Library Borrowing Privileges for Faculty: Minnesota Theological Library Association

All faculty of the University of Minnesota are eligible for free borrowing privileges from the seminary libraries in Minnesota, which are collectively known as the Minnesota Theological Library Association (MTLA). Faculty at the seminary libraries are also eligible for free borrowing privileges at the University of Minnesota Libraries. You are cordially requested to call ahead for the privilege and to learn of any requirements that will be asked of you; staff in the evenings and weekends may not be able to grant you borrowing privileges unless they know of your visit in advance.

Bethel Seminary Library   directions   3949 Bethel Drive, Arden Hills, Minnesota 55112:

By car: 280 north to 35W. Continue north on 35W to County Road E-2. Turn right (east) on E-2 to Old Highway 10. Turn right on Old Highway 10 approximately 1/4 mile to entrance to Bethel campus. Proceed on main road to Seminary complex located on the north (left) portion of the campus.

Luther Seminary is located one block east of Highway 280 and Como Avenue in St. Paul.
Turn onto Hendon Avenue, and proceed up the hill. Northwestern Hall is located two-thirds of the way up on the left side of the street. The Olson Campus Center is located at the top of the hill, at the intersection of Hendon and Fulham. Parking is available in lots next to selected buildings, as well as along non-residential sides of the street.
Please note:  parking is not allowed on the residential sides of Hendon or Fulham Streets. You may be ticketed or towed by the City

Take the St. John's exit off I-94 about 10 miles west of St. Cloud.

Cretin Exit off Interstate 94 just east of Minn. 280 junction. One mile south on Cretin to Summit Avenue (a broad boulevard intersection). West on Summit approximately .10 mile to median in boulevard just short of Mississippi River Drive. Visitors should park in parking areas labeled "Lot P"; this includes the parking lot in front of the library. A parking permit is required. Permits are available at the circulation desk.
